Thank you for visiting my fund raising page, in aid of the Starfish Appeal Paediatric Liver Centre at King's College Hospital.
On 9-13 September I will be cycling from London to Paris to raise money for the Starfish Appeal. The King's College Paediatric Liver Centre leads the way in paediatric liver treatment. Without intervention, liver disease is normally fatal, but the Mountbatten Ward has managed to improve mortality rates from 60% in 1977 to just 4% today. Children from all over the UK and overseas are referred to the Unit to receive treatment for all manner of liver diseases. King’s College Starfish Appeal are currently raising £1million to refurbish the Centre, providing new facilities for children and their families, as well as increasing the number of beds on the ward from 15 to 21.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The Starfish Appeal gets your money faster and, if you're a UK tax payer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Very many thanks for sponsoring me.
