Story
On 27th May 2013 I am running 10K for the Saving Faces Charity.
Now 10K may not sound like a huge distance but for me it is a grand task. I am not a natural runner. My legs are far better suited on a bike. And although its no marathon distance it will still test my stamina and competitive nature.
So why am I doing it? Well, to be honest I would like to do a 10k run to try and prepare for a triathlon (although I haven't even mastered the swimming component yet)
BUT, the main reason I want to run and you should want to sponsor me is that I am raising £500 + for the Saving Faces Charity. This charity raises money, awareness, support, and conducts research into facial deformities. Many of us take the way we look for granted, imagine if that all changed. This amazing charity not only offers support to patients with congenital disease but also to individuals who have suffered awful ordeals through cancer, accidents and even intentional assault.
So please please please sponsor me, I so desperately want to raise a good sum of money.
Thanks!
Emma
