On 2nd August 2015 I lost my gentle mum to ovarian cancer. She was 64 years old and passed away 6 weeks  after her diagnosis. Mum had every single sign and symptom  but as a family we didn't know what to look for so for mum this cancer was silent. Since losing mum I have become very passoniate about raising awearness of the signs and symptoms. Sadly for most women this cancer isn't detected until it's to late and many are misdiagnosed by their GP's.

More women die as a result of ovarian cancer each year in the UK than all other gynaecological cancers combined. A woman dies in the UK every two hours from ovarian cancer . It's a serious issue !!!
