Update: 5th September 2006:  We did it! The race took place last Sunday - there were over 20,000 women running in Hyde Park. The picture is of the two of us after the race with Southampton Uni rep Fiona Brooker who was also running for Latin Link (she beat us both, running in a record 23 minutes! we were closer to the half hour mark!)

Well, it's all come round very fast! We haven't trained a huge amount & we aren't really runners but we're willing to swallow our pride & run in fancy dress in Hyde Park on 3rd September to raise money for the awesome work Latin Link does in Latin America! We have both been on short-term building projects with Latin Link in Ecuador, Mexico and Argentina so we know what a difference they make both to the people we serve and to us!
