Welcome to our fundraising page.  Amelia and I are running the Adidas Women's 5k Challenge on Sunday 7th September in Hyde Park.  We are this year joined by 25 other ladies last year we raised an amazing £8,000.  All money raised by us will go to Fight for Sight for research into Choroideremia a rare eye condition that Tommy has. 

Since Tommy was diagnosed in February 2005 we have raised over £100,000 for Fight for Sight.  This has only been possible with the help from all of our family, friends and work colleagues.  Paul and I thank you all so much for your continued love, support and generous donations.

Miguel Seabra at Imperial College has been researching Choroideremia in the UK for the past 15 years and has started recently some very exciting tests.  He hopes that within the next 3 years they will start testing on humans and in the next 8-10 years there will be a cure.  The money we have raised this year has enabled Miguel to employ another senior scientist to join his team.
