<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit&nbsp;our JustGiving page.</p> <p>On 22 April 2012 we completed the marathon for a fantastic cause.</p> <p>Voice is a charity which works with and on behalf of the 65,000 children and young people currently in the care system in the UK.</p> <p>Less than 14%&nbsp;of children in the care system achieve five or more GCSEs at A* to C grade, compared with a national average of around 55%.&nbsp;50% of young people in care experience mental health problems, compared to 12% nationally.</p> <p>Voice&nbsp;exists in order that no child or young person in public care or &lsquo;in need&rsquo; is left without the support of an independent expert to help them fight their corner and get their voice heard.&nbsp;It strives for a more child-centred care system, based on their needs; a system in which the views and feelings of each young person is at the heart of the decision-making.</p> <p>Anything that you could contribute would really make a difference so thank you very much!</p> <p>Emma and Anna</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
