Hi All,

In case you haven't heard, I am running a half marathon on the 2nd March 2008 in Reading.  I am doing this not only because I am mad (as some of you will say!) but I am running in memory of my cousin Anni who sadly passed away recently after suffering secondary breast cancer.  Anni was sadly one of the unlucky 9 of the scary statistics of 1 in 9 women who will develop breast cancer during their lifetime.  She was a beautiful, 50 year old wife and mother of Laura, aged 12.  Anni was so strong throughout her illness and she kept on smiling and living her life despite her illness until the very end. 

I have chosen to collect donations for the charity "Against Breast Cancer" to which you can donate through this site which is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to donate: Against Breast Cancer will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
