Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Richard and myself will be raising money for the:

SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT-Kettering General Hospital

we will be doing a tandem bungee jump on 4th April 2009 inbray-if anyone wants to watch.

As most of you know our little boy was born early, weighing 3lbs 9oz on 6/9/08. Jack was taking to special care baby unit, and has various problems. He was struggling to breath so was put on a vent and his heart wasnt working properely, which they think was caused by a clot on his right kidney. He had several platelets transfusions, he had 3 causes of antibotics for infection. He had a bleed on the brain, and will need to have an mri at some point. He had drips in his hands and lines in his umbilical cord, to check blood and sugar levels each day. He visited leicester hospital for his heart and great ormond street, where he had tests on kidneys and his brain. He is now nearly 9 weeks old and 6lb, and will need regular check ups to these hospitals, but the reason we want to raise money for s.c.b.u is they do a wonderful job with these special babies, there continual help and support was amazing, and if the special care unit wasnt there, our little boy wouldnt be here today. The government doesnt give hardly any money to s.c.b.u, the incubators and equipment they have, have been through donations made by the public.

SO PLEASE SPONSOR US NOW AS EVERY LITTLE HELPS!

THANKYOU
