Unfortunately Louise will no longer be running this year's marathon due to a previously undiagnosed heart condition. Hopefully after treatment she will be able to run the 2010 marathon instead.

Dear all

Having lost our Mum, Dina, last year to a long battle with Cancer, we decided that we wanted to set ourselves a challenge and raise some money for the Pilgrims Hospice in Ashford, Kent. The love, care and support both mum and us received there during the last days of her life was amazing; at such a very traumatic time, kindness and love shone through from all the staff, and gave us great strength.

 We have fundraised for this particular hospice over the last 8 years as it has been an important charity for some very close friends and our aim this year is to raise as much money as we can as a tribute to our lovely, kind, generous, and greatly missed mum.
