Well I did it, along with my walking buddies Mark and Tina, we managed to finish the walk and have a good time doing it!

My next challenge to raise money for Group 171 is to walk 50kM over 2 days in and around Lourdes along with 60 other people in Febuary 2008.  

HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust  is a charity which takes thousands of children with disabilities or special needs on a pilgrimage holiday to Lourdes at Easter time.

I am currently the group leader for HCPT group 171, I am aiming  to take 10 children with group 171 for the Easter 2008 pilgrimage along with 15 helpers (all who pay their own fare).

In order to take part in the pilgrimage the group needs to raise over £15,000 a year.

The cost of a child to go to Lourdes is £580, I would like to raise enough from this event to pay for at least one child to join group 171 on the Easter 2008 pilgrimage.
