MAG- Community Challenge Cambodia · 19 March 2009 ·

Every single day, 17 people are killed or injured because of landmines and other explosive weapons. Almost half of all civilian casualties are children. MAG finds and destroys these weapons to save lives and rebuild futures; helping people to grow crops, attend school and build homes.

Story

Cambodia Challenge 2008

As you have probly already heard im off to Cambodia next year, trekking Cambodia and helping to build homes for landmine survivers.

Each year between 10,000 - 15,000 are killed or injured by a landmine. Yet many survives have the courage to return to the fields and help clear landmines, preventing further injuries to others and restoring their communities.

So please help me, help these brave people by raising the above amount to enable us to build houses for them, giving them the future that they truely deserve.

What i plan to do to help raise money include- car boot sale, book sale, sponsered bike ride from leeds to liverpool and back in two days (next year) and many more ideas to come......

I am also in the process of sending sponser letters to small and major companies and buisnesses, local news papers and a school...so watch this space :)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Mines Advisory Group gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Many many thanks M-j x
