Coast to coast walk · 1 July 2005

Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Well, I did it. 191.5 miles from one side of the UK to the other. Me and my 12 blisters took 14 days to complete the walk, over some of the mountains in the Lake District, through Swaledale and up and across the Moors.

Thank you everyone who sponsored me - it made a real difference to me and encouraged me to keep going. It will also make a huge difference to Sense and to the 23,000 people who are deafblind in the UK.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sense will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks for your support.
