Story

Enchanted Day Nursery Fundraising Campaign

Enchanted Day Nursery are partnering with AEDdonate to raise funds for a defibrillator. This life-saving device will be accessible to anyone in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Why a Defibrillator for the Enchanted Day Nursery is So ImportantEach year in the UK, over 30,000 people suffer a Sudden Cardiac Arrest outside of a hospital. Tragically, 620 of these are under the age of 35, and 270 are children, often while at school, in public places, or at events.

Having a defibrillator on-site, ready to use within the first 3 minutes of an SCA, can increase survival chances to over 80%. For the Barlaston & Tittensor Scouts, this device could literally be the difference between life and death.
