Story
Hiya! Thanks for coming here!
My name is Caroline and I'm going to cycle from one end of the UK to the other, from Land's End to John O'Groats, this August to raise money for the Dandelion Trust and specifically one of their projects, The Spitz!
What is "The Spitz"?! It's a venue based in Spitalfields Market, which has, for the past 11 years, played host to groundbreaking exhibitions (most recently Chernobyl Legacy), given new bands a platform and also provided a sociable and socially conscious pub and restaurant for people to come to, which they know the revenue from which goes back into the Dandelion Trust charity.
The Dandelion Trust itself is a registered charity that supports the arts, helps people in traumatic situations and conserves green spaces and beautiful buildings (www.dandeliontrust.org) It does tremendous work ranging from giving children from Chernobyl a respite from their poisoned homeland to preserving endangered woodlands and historic remains for future generations.
It is for this reason that along my route to John O'Groats, I will be visiting some of the Dandelion Trust's projects including the Woodlands project in Praze an Beeble and Kingsbridge to highlight some of the work that the Trust does.
Right! Enough of the talking, more of the fundraising... :o)
This site is simple, fast and totally secure. The Dandelion Trust (specifically The Spitz) receives your money DIRECTLY. If you are a UK taxpayer, clicking on GIFT AID, adds an extra 28% in tax to your donation, at absolutely no cost to you. PLEASE DO SO! :o)
Thanks! Caroline

Thanks SO much for all the support and donations... It still hasn't sunken in that I've actually done it... but I've cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats and have survived to tell the tale!!! :o)
But it doesn't end here... The Spitz and The Dandelion Trust really do still need your help... so please donate if you haven't already... or urge others to follow in your footsteps if you have!!!
As am only getting back to London later on tonight, pics and video will soon be in The Spitz' hands so you can then see some of the places I've been through... and in some cases, some of the WEATHER as well!!! :o)
So stay tuned to::: www.spitz.co.uk
Thanks again!!!
