Story
Welcome to our fundraising page.
We originally thought about cycling Lands End to John O'Groats just for the challenge, but then it occurred to us that we could raise some money at the same time. Fran and Gareth are opticians, and so we thought we'd raise money for "Fight for Sight". We're planning on taking a fairly scenic route of around 950 miles, which we'll hopefully complete in around 2-and-a-half weeks. This means we need to do around 50 to 60 miles a day, but it's easier to imagine it as two marathons!
The journey will hopefully be tracked at our website (depending on how much time we have to keep it updated!)
We'd really appreciate your online sponsorship. All money that we raise will go towards funding vital research into eye disease and blindness.
