<div>Many of you will be aware that in 2006 and again in 2009 my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. We have had many wonderful people around to get us through these times: family; neighbours; friends and work colleagues. We have also been supported by great surgical and oncology teams at Worcester Royal Infirmary and have long wanted to say thank you in a meaningful way, one that could help others in a similar position in the future.</div>
<div>I have been training over recent months to complete a bicycle ride from one end of the UK to the other: Lands End to John O'Groats. There is a small matter of almost 1000 miles of road between the 2 points and I will be climbing the equivalent of 1.2 times the height of Mount Everest. I will complete this ride in early June of 2011 and am looking to collect some sponsorship for the event.</div>
<div>Our 13 year old son, Matt, will be completing one of the legs - 90 miles from Inkberrow to Nantwich in Cheshire.</div>
