Motorcycle Charity Ride from Lands End to John O’G · 24 March 2009

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Our charity motorcylce ride will start at the Red Lion in Shirley, Solihull, at 11am on Saturday 27th June 2009.  We will then ride to Lands End via any available route.  The ride to John O’Groats will commence on 28th June and the route will avoid motorways and trunk roads wherever possible.  We will arrive at the top of Scotland on 2nd July.

We will make our way home from John O’Groats on 3rd July and we plan to arrive back at the Red Lion in Shirley late afternoon on Sunday 5th July.

In order to make the trip a little more challenging we will be camping every night, so each bike will not only be carrying the rider's clothes but also a tent, sleeping bag and cooking equipment.

The whole trip will be funded by ourselves and all donations will go directly to the MS Society to further the essential support and research they undertake.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
