Story

We are delighted to annouce that ten players have been selected, as representatives for the England Deaf Golf Team, to participate in the 7th World Golf Championship (WDGC).  This will be held this year in Perth, Australia from 30th September to 3rd October 2008.  The prestigious event will be played over four rounds.

We need to raise the money to cover the expenses of this exciting trip for all players, their PGA coach and their manager to play the gruelling championship.  They would love to fulfil one of their long-held ambitions, to play golf against the other 10 countries in Australia.  We have a target of £15,000 and the players are arranging their own fund-raising events, however with time approaching very fast, we need every penny and pound from YOU!

You are welcome to check out www.2008wdgc.com to check the player's live scoring on the Leader Board.  The competition starts on 29th September and finish on 3rd October.

With your support and contribution, the English Deaf Golf Association will be most grateful.
