On september 19th 2010 we will be taking part in our own 3 mile walk to help raise money for Nowzad dogs. This is a charity which was set up by a former soldier to help the stray dogs of Afghanistan which are often abused and neglected.The money raised from our walk will go towards starting a neutering  and education programme.I became aware of this charity through reading a book which the soldier (Pen Farthing)had written called "one dog at a time" and now i also have read "no place like home" If you would like to know more about the charity please visit the nowzad dogs website.Please support us to raise as much as possible,they really do need every penny!

Our 3 miles will be added to the grand total and we are all hoping to collectively reach the town of Nowzad in afghanistan(3,631 miles!)
