<p>I attempt to keep fit with occasional running on the hilly landscape of Rossendale, where I live. To coin a phrase, I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and support our local NSPCC by attempting my first half marathon, Freckleton, which is the oldest half marathon in the UK.
