Hello, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Having successfully overcome years of ill-health, I now plan to 'Celebrate' the event by cycling from Aberdeen to Adelaide to raise money for M.E. the condition which has shaped my life for the past 20 years!

My planned route will be challenging and diverse, taking me through 15 countries across Europe, Asia and Australia!  I shall be using basic accommodation, local camping facilities and where need be, sleeping rough!  Cycling approximately 50 miles a day, 5 days a week, I estimate that my trip will take anything from 18 to 24 months.

Previously, my poor health has prevented me from attempting something so physically demanding.  However, I am genuinely excited at the challenges that lie in front of me and fully intend to meet them head on - with hopefully, the wind on my back!

As  'Living is Giving'  any donation you are able to give would make a huge difference to me, to the success of the trip and to the M.E. Association in their continual effort in supporting people suffering from M.E.

Every penny pledged would propel my pedals faster!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ME Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

With many thanks and much love...
Eric

Additional thanks are necessary to the following who have made generous contributions towards my costs or have donated directly to the M. E. association.
