<p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in memory of Eric Thomson.</p> <p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">My Dad lived a full and happy life which was cut unfairly short, however the time he spent with us and the memories we have will be forever cherished. He loved his family and friends and in turn they loved him. He loved his golf and in turn it loved him....most of the time.</p> <p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">&nbsp;</p> <p>In 2009 my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer, unfortunately it was already in it's advanced stages having spread outside the prostate. Donating to this charity will hopefully help raise awareness of this disease and help prevent the same happening to others. With early diagnosis and treatment it can be easily countered. Unfortunately the disease is often symptomless until it reaches the more advanced stages which is why it is important every male approaching his 40's,and those over 40, should visit their GP and ask about prostate cancer, it can be easily tested for by means of a simple blood test.</p> <p>We are all devastated at the loss of such a great man, a great Husband, Father, Grandpa and friend.</p> <p>We miss you.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
