My story

 
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! On November 2009 I ran the 40th NY City Marathon. I ran the Marathon to raise awareness and funds for Children in Crossfire.

Children in Crossfire was founded in 1996 by Richard Moore. Children in Crossfire exists to make a significant and lasting contribution towards the eradication of poverty. The charity gives children the chance to choose a better future. 

As many of you already know I travelled to Tanzania last year with Children in Crossfire. It was an amazing experience and really opened my eyes to how important the work of the charity is. We visited a number of projects that they are involved in out there including the building of a school in Moshi. We also visited projects the charity hopes to help in the future including an orphanage, HIV Clinic and a community clinic that has no access to water. 

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children in Crossfire gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
