What is KidsCan?
KidsCan Children’s Cancer Research Centre was established to support research into new and improved treatments for children with cancer.
Their scientists are looking for treatments which are less damaging to the bodies of children and young adults. They aim to reduce both short and long term side effects whilst retaining the effectiveness of many current treatments.
KidsCan are the only facility conducting research into specifically cancers in children and they receive NO statutory funding
1 in 500 children will be diagnosed with cancer in the UK this year.
1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer will not survive.
Through groundbreaking research, KidsCan is striving to make sure every child diagnosed, survives, but they need you help.
