Chara Challenge 30 mile 10 hour Dartmoor walk · 28 April 2009

The RMBF was formed to relieve need, distress or hardship suffered by any person who is serving, has served or is a dependant of a Royal Marine, irrespective of rank. It also provides immediately on the death of either a serving RM or a reservist on duty a sum of money for the next of kin to help them cope with any pressing financial matters.

Story

Thanks for visiting Estovers Elite fund raising page.

We are raising money for the British Marine Benevolent fund after losing a friend in Afghanistan and wanting to do something for the families who lose these heroes.

Our challenge is to complete a 30 mile walk on dartmoor carrying a 32lb pack plus safety stores and water. This test is one of four tests that commandos must complete. (they have to complete it in 7hours.... ours will be within 10 hours)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Royal Marines Benevolent Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
