Everyone has been affected by Cancer or at least knows someone that has. I was recently diagnosed with tongue cancer. I feel lucky in that I caught it early, and thanks to a successful surgery procedure I am now making a near full recovery. Many people are not so fortunate.

By donating to Cancer Research UK you will be funding the development of treatments, surgical procedures and research into the early detection of Cancer. The charity aims to increase survival rates and the prevention of Cancer. There are so many forms of cancer and this charity encompases them all.

Now for our bit, obviously for us to be deserving of your donations we are going to have to suffer. For this we are going to attempt to cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End in 9 days. Thats about 110 miles a day and a total of 14,000M of climbing all into a prevailing head wind.
