I am organising a sponsored circular cycle on 28th/29th/30th July 2009, from Bristol via Gloucester , the Forest of Dean and back to Bristol again. Cycling over three days, in aid of BrAMS Appeal.  BrAMS are currently running a research programme (which Ranald and I are involved in) 'to analyse whether neurophysiological measurements are an effective measure of disease progression.'  Because if and effective way of analysing progression of the disease was found, BrAMS believe it would encourage trials of new therapies in PPMS.  Currently, patients with PPMS have no effective disease modifying treatments available and are often excluded from clinical trials.
