The Sarcoma Trust and Sarcoma UK jointly work to raise awareness of all forms of Sarcomas within both the general public and medical community. Too few NHS Primary Care Trusts have the vital skills and knowledge to deal with Sarcomas where, in most forms, no common course of treatment exists. Sarcoma UK looks to share developments in research and personal experiences of carers within the medical community.

The Sarcoma Trust provides both funding to research projects and vital support to patients and their families. The Trust helps operate many regional support groups, one of which is located in Bristol which give an opportunity for patients to meet with fellow patients as well as to gain non-medical advice.
