My story
Thanks a million for visiting my fundraising page, I really appreciate your help and support, as it's the kindness of people like you that will help me to cross the finish line after running 26.2 miles! Arghhhh!
I have never run more than 6 miles before ( that was on a treadmill) !!! However having had the privilege of working with the NCH, and seeing the fantastic work they do, I felt compelled to dust down my trainers, and get out in the rain and run The London Marathon!
Nik & I have personally witnessed that NCH make children able to smile again, they help in keeping families together, they protect vulnerable children, they help to educate young people & young mums, they prevent young people crossing the line of becoming young offenders and much, much, much more. The NCH isn't just a charity, it's a loving family ready to welcome, protect, nurture and support any child, young person or family that needs their help! (Nik and I were flabbergasted to learn that 500 children per day are added to the child protection register).
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. NCH, the children's charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
