Thanks a million for visiting my fundraising page, I really appreciate your help and support, as it's the kindness of people like you that will help me to cross the finish    line after running 26.2 miles!  Arghhhh!

I have never run more than 6 miles before ( that was on a treadmill) !!!  However having had the privilege of working with the NCH, and seeing the fantastic work they do, I felt compelled to dust down my trainers, and get out in the rain and run The London Marathon!

Nik & I have personally witnessed that NCH make children able to smile again, they help in keeping families together, they protect vulnerable children, they help to educate young people & young mums, they prevent young people crossing the line of becoming young offenders and much, much, much more.  The NCH isn't just a charity, it's a loving family ready to welcome, protect, nurture and support any child, young person or family that needs their help!  (Nik and I were flabbergasted to learn that 500 children per day are added to the child protection register).
