Bupa Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I'm running in the Great North Run on 20th September this year, in memory of my daughter Jo-Anne who would have been 25 this year.  Jo-Anne died when she was 4 months old through 'cot death' (also known as 'Sudden Infant Death Syndrome' (SIDS)) and the Scottish Cot Death Trust do a fantastic job raising money for research and supporting families who tragically lose children through this - the numbers are still too high so support for finding answers is crucial.  The work the trust does is really important and they survive through their fundraising.

So please support me and help raise lots of money for this -  don't let the photos put you off!!  The race was a brilliant day, but glad to get to the finish line!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Scottish Cot Death Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thank you

Evelyn
