EVEREST PIXEL DREAM IN AID OF DREAMS COME TRUE
Internet advertising is evolving. A new kind of advertising based on images rather than texts, called pixel advertising, is the latest craze to sweep the net. In March 2006 my own twist on this went live, www.everestpixeldream.com offering pixel advertising space 'with a difference'.
The aim of the Everest Pixel Dream site is; to try and raise £5,250 each for three Children's Charities; Save the Children Dreams Come True and the Esther Benjamins Trust. I will hopefully be participating in a climb of Mount Everest in 2007. This is my dream, and I hope to live it through the Everest Pixel Dream website.
This site has been set up to allow me to reach my target of raising £5,250 for Dreams Come True. If you would like to advertise on Everest Pixel Dream, then please make a donation here through this site and email me on ellis@everest-pixel-dream.com once you have done this. Just £4 will mean you will become one of my official sponsors and you will own a square on the pixel mountain.
The minimum purchase to get a metre on the side of Everest is £4.00. Please see the website for full details: www.everest-pixel-dream.com
DREAMS COME TRUE
Dreams Come True was formed in 1988 with the express aim of helping to fulfil the dreams of children with terminal and serious life affecting illnesses. This could be anything from experiencing the magic of Disney World to swimming with Dolphins. Sadly, for many of the children, they face a constant round of painful treatments, drugs and surgery.
The exciting prospect of a dream coming true can greatly boost their morale and give them a goal to look forward to and fight for.
By donating on this page every penny of your donation will aid this proecess and allow these children to experience their own Everest's and live out their own wildest fantasies. I have an 8 year old son, Aaron who I adore with my whole heart, who lives in Australia. I miss him with my whole heart every single day. I know how special Children can be, more children with terminal and life threatening illnesses.
Every single second of every day is precious, enduring and eternal. We all have Dreams, please help me with mine by donating as little or as much as you can in order to help me meet my target of £20,000 for Dreams Come True I have set up a donation page for Save the Children too at: www.justgiving.com/everestpixeldream I would be delighted If you would split your donation between this page for Dreams come true and the page for save the children. To secure a metre on the side of Everest, your minimum purchase is £4.00.
However any donation at all is greatly welcomed.
Thanks
Ellis J Stewart
