Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A team of over 10 colleagues from Barclays Bank is set to run up Stormont hill in East Belfast a gruelling 181 times on Saturday 14 May 2016 to raise vital funds for Friends of the Cancer Centre.

The ‘Climb Everest Challenge’ will involve 181 ascents of the iconic hill, equivalent to the vertical ascent required to conquer Mount Everest from sea level, 8,848 metres.

Friends of the Cancer Centre, which is based at Belfast City Hospital, has a long and proud history of helping local cancer patients across Northern Ireland over the last 30 years.

The charity funds life-saving and life-changing projects.  In the last year alone, Friends of the Cancer Centre has put nearly £1.4 million back into the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
