Story

On 29 September 2012, we (Lucie-Anne Rhodes and Tom Piper) will be taking part in the Thames Path 50km challenge. Hopefully the challenge itself is pretty self explanatory, but to summarise: it involves us walking along a 50km stretch of the River Thames... which is roughly 31 miles... and we have to do it in under 12 hours... otherwise we won't get a burger at the end.

The reason we're giving up a weekend to damage our feet beyod recognition - aside from being massive walking enthusiasts of course!! - is so that we can raise a little bit of cash for a very worthwhile disability charity, the Papworth Trust.

So if you can spare a few bob please do sponsor us, either through this page or by texting XCOK81 and the amount you'd like to donate to 70071.

The Papworth Trust provides opportunities and support to over 20,000 disabled and disadvantaged people each year by offering specialist housing, advice and training, employment and rehabilitation services throughout Eastern England. You can find out more about the Trust and the work they do by clicking here: http://www.papworth.org.uk/.

Many thanks.
