Story

BONJOUR, GRüEZI, CIAO, ZIVIJO and Zdravo everyone!! Thank you for taking the time out to visit our fundraising page. Following in the skid marks of a young adventurer Scott Ward the four of us have decided to live on the edge for a week and take part in this years Ramshackle Rally from Calais to Split in Croatia. Sounds like a fun road trip I hear you say! drop in a beautiful 20 year old Volvo Estate to the equation and you begin to realise the task we have set ourselves!!! Departing Calais (if we make it that far!!!!) on the 12th September we will be covering an average 500 miles per day, which includes some tricky terrain through the alps (thats right... the alps!!!!) via Bern in Switzerland, Bormio in Italy and Ljublana in Slovenia. We aim to arrive in Split on the 15th September. Team EVH are; Tim "don't touch my crayons fool!!" Canipel, Riaz "get me back to the 80's" Nathoo, James "I just saw a rat!" Oddy and David "Frodo Baggins" Jennings We have set this fund raising website up as we would like to dedicate our trip to the memory of Anne Rowley. We would like to support Jenny, Anne's daughter and our close friend, in raising funds for St. Helena Hospice in Colchester that provides a wide range of specialist palliative care services for people who have an advanced, progressive, life threatening illness. Every donation will be gratefully received and we would all like to thank you in advance for your support. In the words of Murray Walker..."Its the blackest day for motor racing since I started covering the sport!"
