In 2005, Richard Barnes cycled 3000 miles from London to Africa and back in support of Excellent Development's work in Africa. Now he's back and he's teamed up with David Barnes and Paul Mace for a new challenge - a 'tri-Nation triathlon'.
From 24th to 30th August, the trio will be climbing (actually running) up the three highest mountains and swimming the length of the three longest lakes in Scotland, England and Wales, plus cycling the 500 miles in between.
This amounts to a staggering 11,168 feet of climbing, 40 miles swimming, and 500 miles cycling, all in 7 days!
You can show the team your support by sponsoring them here. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.
Thank you!
