The Jane Tomlinson Appeal is the legacy of the late inspirational Jane Tomlinson CBE and exists to support children’s health and wellbeing and to improve the lives of people with cancer.

Story

On the 11 June 2010, Emily Macaulay and Sue Jewell (aka Sue Alexander, University of Plymouth) will start their biggest challenge yet - to run from Exeter to Leeds (330 miles) in just three weeks!

The purpose of this is to challenge our bodies, minds and equally importantly raise more money for Jane's Appeal, a cause that inspires us both.

"Jane's Appeal was established by the late Jane Tomlinson CBE to raise funds for children's and cancer charities. The charities that have benefited from Jane's support cover all areas related to ill health and particularly cancer, including medical research, cancer treatment and specialist care."
