Extreme Cello Pier Pressure · 22 July 2016

We are a UK charity tackling some of the biggest societal challenges through our work with children who desperately need a break. We put magic into their lives, through our inspirational respite holidays with no screens and lots of time spent outdoors. Help us create memories that last a lifetime.

Story

Between 20 July and 4 August 2016, the Extreme Cellists (Clare Wallace, James Rees and Jeremy Dawson) will be visiting and playing on all surviving piers in Great Britain - that's 58 piers in 14 days! As well as involving around 2500 miles of travel, and 58 performances on piers, they will also be giving a few separate concerts as they travel around the country.

The challenge is in support of not only CHICKS (on this page), but also Alzheimer's Society (www.justgiving.com/extremecello16a). You can get further information about the challenge, and follow their blog as they undertake the tour, at www.extremecello.com.

Please do donate if you feel able to. If you are a UK taxpayer please Gift Aid your donation so that the Inland Revenue will add to your contribution at no cost to you. Alternatively you can donate by texting ECPP55 and the amount you want to donate (e.g. "ECPP55 £10") to 70070. Many thanks for your support!
