<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 140%;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; color: #1c1c1c; line-height: 140%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"><br />Moorhouse is entering its sixth annual Charity Challenge. This year we are repeating the successful format of 2010... <strong>seeking to power two</strong> <strong>pedalos down the Thames from Oxfordshire to London in a 48 hour endurance race </strong>to raise money for City Gateway, a charity helping disadvantaged young people in London (<em>change for MS Therapy centre</em>). This year we are stepping up the challenge this year by going that bit further; 120km compared to last year’s 100km. <br /><br />Extreme Pedalo 2011 will pose many challenges, including: </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 140%;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; color: #1c1c1c; line-height: 140%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">- <strong>Pain</strong>: pedalos are not designed for speed or comfort. At best it will be tiring, at worst it will be agony... </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 140%;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; color: #1c1c1c; line-height: 140%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">- <strong>Fatigue</strong>: the relay event will last for 48 consecutive hours. Team members will be expected to pedal through day and night to complete the challenge - with only limited opportunity of sleep! </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 140%;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; color: #1c1c1c; line-height: 140%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">- <strong>Obstacles</strong>: there will be over 30 locks en-route, and at each lock the pedalo will need to be manoeuvred through the lock or carried out of the water. </span></p>
