We at Moorhouse Consulting
are embarking on a never-before attempted, 48 hour endurance pedalo race along the Thames from Oxfordshire to London to raise money for City Gateway, a charity helping disadvantaged young people in London.
Extreme Pedalo 2010 will pose many challenges, including:
- Pain: pedalos are not designed for speed or comfort. At best it will be tiring, at worst it will be agony...
- Fatigue: the relay event will last for 48 consecutive hours. Team members will be expected to pedal through day and night to complete the challenge - with only limited opportunity of sleep!
- Obstacles: there will be over 30 locks en-route, and at each lock the pedalo will need to be carried out of the water.
