24 Peaks Challenge · 14 July 2007 ·

We’re the National Deaf Children’s Society. We're the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Whatever the question or challenge, we’ll help find a way through. We believe in a world where anything is possible for deaf children.

Story

Well, you've managed to find my just giving page so now all that's left to do is...give generously!!!

What I thought was going to be a mildly long walk with pleasant views turned out to be a seriously hardcore challenge!  A crazy group of marketing friends and I trekked 31 miles over 24 of the most challenging peaks in the Lake District, all because we wanted to raise a bit of dosh for some kids that could really use our help!  We covered a total height of over 67,000 feet (20,654 metres) - that's more than twice the height of Mt Everest - and completed the challenge in a combined time 25 hours and 43 minutes!

Please make this all worth while. Break out the plastic and give what you can.
