Re-engage is dedicated to fighting loneliness in old age. We help people over 75 who are facing loneliness and social isolation to re-engage with their communities through regular social contact, giving them a lifeline of friendship and something to look forward to. We have also recently launched call companions; our telephone befriending service for thousands of vulnerable older people in the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting the site!

A number of us at Ernst & Young Reading (plus some friends) have decided to raise some funds for a good cause by running this year's British 10k.

Along with two teams from EY London we want to raise an incredible £10,000 to create two brand new Contact the Elderly groups to ease the loneliness of more than 20 isolated, elderly people who live housebound and alone, with no friends or family living nearby.  As an office we are aiming to raise a 1/4 of this amount.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Contact The Elderly will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

This is a really great cause so any donations will be most appreciated!

Many thanks for your support.
