Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Movember is the annual, month-long celebration of the moustache or 'Mo', highlighting men's health issues, specifically prostate cancer. Staff at Failsworth School will be transformed into “Mo Bros” (supported by their “Mo Sistas”) with the charity campaign starting on 1st Movember 2010 (the month formerly known as November!) where all the men will be clean-shaven. They have the whole month to grow and groom their moustaches and will be raising money for the Prostate Cancer Charity.

Staff and visitors will have the opportunity to donate money in school and also online by visiting www.justgiving.com/failsworthmovember.

In 2009, the Mo Bros and Sistas at Failsworth School helped to raise over £400 for charity.
