COAST TO COAST BIKE RIDE FOR BLISS
One in every nine babies in the is born premature or sick. That is over 80,000 babies every year. Every 6 minutes another baby is admitted to a special care baby unit.
Bliss is the only national charity dedicated to improving both the survival and long-term quality of life for babies born too soon, too small or too sick to cope on their own.
The vital care that premature and sick babies receive after birth can have a profound impact on the rest of their lives. For the families struggling to cope with having a baby in special care, this will be one of the most difficult, emotional and stressful times of their lives.
The Fairy Bikers intend to cycle coast to coast in two days on 17 September from Whitehaven to Newcastle to support this fantastic charity.
Your Fairy Bikers are Adam Cain, Alex Homan, Anthony Boothman, Ben Barlow, Chris Hopwood, Michael Nelson, Michael Owens, Nick Homan and Stephen Evans.
Please give whatever you can. Thank you so much.
