I thought doing a 10k would be a great idea.  I'd swap my staple high heels for a pair of super-comfy running shoes, get fit and raise money for a fantastic charity!  A definte win-win situation....however, that's as far as I got in the thought process when I made the rash decision to sign up for this race.

Unfortunately I am yet to be able to run even 1 mile, let alone 6.3 of them - and I only have 6 weeks to train (plus 2 weekends worth of weddings and 2 hen-do's in between to contend with my training)!!  But I'm not going to let that stop me.....I like a bit of a challenge.
