A husband's story : When Chloe was diagnosed with suspected Thyroid Cancer in 2013, I thought it was the end of the world, I could not even think how I could live without her, but we got through it.
A wife's story : In October 2015 my world as I knew it ended. Six weeks after the best holiday canoeing down the Dordogne, Geoff was, from out of nowhere, diagnosed with bowel cancer and currently inoperable liver cancer so severe that catastrophic liver failure was/is a possibility.
Words here can not capture my thoughts or feelings except to share some comfort knowing there is nowhere better than the Royal Marsden for Geoff to undergo his treatment and hope that together with them we can and will somehow get through this one too. I love him so much it hurts.
A child's story : When your son asks is it the dying kind, what do you tell him?
