Story

Thanks for visiting this fundraising page.

Iain Hume suffered a serious head injury on the field of play against Sheffield Utd on Saturday 8th Nov. This required surgery. Barnsley fans decided to raise money for Iain's charity of choice & he nominated BASIC. The BASIC website is at www.basiccharity.org.uk - please have a look, then give generously in Iain's name.

A bucket collection held at Barnsley FC's Stadium on 28th Dec 08 raised a fantastic £785.63. Many thanks to all those who generously donated to this.

Things to Do in Barnsley kindly organised a half time shoot out event at Oakwell on 10th Jan 09 and raised a further £200 for BASIC. Things to do can be accessed at www.thingstodoin.org.uk.

Avid Barnsley FC fan Ian Lodge will be running the Great Manchester Run for BASIC in 2009. Good luck Ian
