In conjunction with the Faringdon Twinning Association's 20th Anniversary visit to Le Mele-sur-Sarthe, the Saturday cycling group (Farcycles) is cycling to France.

A first group leaves Faringdon on 1st June taking 2 days to reach Portsmouth. A second group will leave Faringdon on 2nd June completing the 80 miles to Portsmouth in one day. Both groups join up at Portsmouth and catch the overnight ferry to Caen. On thursday 3rd June the enlarged cycling group will cycle the 70 miles (112km) to Le Mele-sur-Sarthe. A lunch break is scheduled at Trun where a group of cyclists from Le Mele will meet us. We will then cycle to Le Mele hoping to arrive at the same time as the coach bringing the Faringdon Twinning Association members.

Farcycles have chosen Helen & Douglas House as the charity we would like to support.
