The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a charity and voluntary organisation that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times, whether the issue is personal or business related. Our confidential national helpline is open every day of the year from 7am-11pm.

Story

Bob and Colin Barker both work in a rural environment. Bob works for his parents on the family farm, whilst Colin works for Thirsk Auction Mart.

We are taising funds for the Farm Crisis Network which is a charity that is a support and information point to the farming and rural community.

In these hard times, sometimes people have no where to look for emotional support or someone to assist with problems with government agencies eg Defra/BCMS or sometimes, just need someone to talk to.

The funds we raise will help the rural agricultural community and probably make a postivie difference in saving familes and rural life
