The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a charity and voluntary organisation that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times, whether the issue is personal or business related. Our confidential national helpline is open every day of the year from 7am-11pm.

Story

The Farming Help Appeal has been set up to raise much needed funds for the three charities working together in the farming community: ARC-Addington Fund, Farm Crisis Network (FCN) and Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI). Each charity provides different but complementary forms of help and support to farming people and families who are facing difficulties.

The recent outbreaks of Foot & Mouth Disease and Bluetongue and the resulting movement restrictions have had a devastating effect on many livestock farmers, and come after a difficult summer of flooding and bad weather. Together the Farming Help charities are working hard to provide a range of help, including pastoral and practical support, welfare and financial assistance for farming households, and grants towards the cost of additional animal feed.

Donations will be received by FCN, and then divided between the three charities according to need.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate to the charities. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you through Gift Aid.

Please make a donation now - it will make a real difference to people's lives.

Many thanks for your support.
