Thank you for your support on my 2009 fasting & fund raising attempt.

I have completed my 21-days Fasting & Walking 2009 task!
In summary I walk during this 21-days around 250 distance kilometres
and about 4500 altitude metres in India, England and Austria.
I feel fit, trained and full of energy and ready for any upcoming challenges
in the next weeks/month during these turbulent times.
I AM VERY THANKFUL
that I managed to complete this ambagious program and that my body
and mind supported my so well during this time.
I AM VERY THANKFUL
to have so many friend/colleague who believed in my program
and donated for the good and the benefit of Hilton Foundation.

I have planned my this years fund raising event in the upcoming weeks to raise money for Hilton In The Community Foundation and 50% will go to the “New Hope Trust” www.watfordnewhope.org.uk which aims to relieve poverty and distress by providing accommodation, education and other support.
I have added to my this years fasting period the activity “walking”
My 21day fasting period (water & tea only) will start on 07. April
During this period I will be
* in India in the Kangra Valley (Himalaya region)
besides the daily 4 hour tours I will also do a 6 hours tour on 11. April
which takes me above 10.000 feet
* in St. Veit (Austria) on 24. April for a 4-Mountain walk which
takes 12 hours
Before my fasting period ends on 28. April
For those who don’t know how fasting work:
- during this period (21 days) I don’t eat, I only drink water and tea
I have done this before and there is no risk for my health – as long the
body gets water a period of 21 days with no food can be handled by
the body.
Doing exercise during this period support the body and the
detoxication process.
I don’t have a religion background for doing this – I do this for many
years and this is a great period to refresh (detox) my body and mind.
Same say: I am silly doing this, others say they can never do it, other
stay on this needs willpower
… for me this is an know experience and something I don’t miss in my
yearly calendar
… as for many things – if you don’t try … you don’t know if you achieve!
